There has to be a better way…

Getting kids to finish up one subject or activity and prepare for something different seems to be one of the biggest challenges in the classroom.

There are lots of suggestions and strategies because this is such a common problem. Here are a few of our favorites and links to many more resources.

  • animated count down timer with audio – visual and audio cues about the need to finish up
  • timed “competition” to reduce the time to get ready
