This is how it came to me. To use with kids, I’d change change the title and have them
Write captions for each picture. They could be open ended or there could be constraints such as:
Use a word from this week’s/unit’s spelling list in each.
Make each caption a question/exclamation/statement
Use at least 4 nouns/verbs/adjectives/adverbs in each.
Write a paragraph describing what might have happened just before or just after the photo was taken.
Design something (product, procedure, communication device, etc.) that could have prevented or helped fix the situation.
