The San Diego chapter is soliciting applications for the 2012 Marian Delano Memorial Scholarship. We just haven’t received as many apps as we’d like to see, so please get the word out. Forward this information ASAP to 99s who may be interested- the deadline for postmarks or eMail is January 31st!
Marian R. DeLano Memorial Scholarship
A $1,500 award to help fund flight training. Applicant must (1) be a female, (2) have solo sign-off and written test passed for private pilot license, or be an Associate member of the 99s and (3) be a member of a 99s chapter in the Southwest Section (CA, AZ, NV, UT, HI). The scholarship is good for one rating or certificate only. Air Transport Rating not eligible. There is a 90 day limit to apply funds towards training.
