Over the past week we have been fixing discrepancies and finishing detail work in preparation for the airworthiness inspection and first flight. We have been working on the ramp in 0 to 10 degree weather (wind chill has been 0 to -20). The sunrise today was around 9:15a as we were starting our inspections. continues…

The Chevak Rans S-6 Coyote II flew to Anchorage in May 2011 to be on display at the Alaska Airmen’s Trade Show and subsequently flew to Oshkosh, WI were it was displayed at the Buidl A Plane booth! Students in CHevak are now beginning a ground school with their resident CFI in Chevak.
