Mentoring invitation
I am replying to your request for business mentoring from the SCORE Volusia/Flagler chapter. SCORE mentoring is a free service offered to any aspiring or established business owners. Partnering with you one-on-one, SCORE mentors support your success by providing experienced advice, consulting on best practices, and educating you on small business topics.
SCORE mentoring is funded and supported in part by the Small Business Administration. All the information discussed and shared is confidential. SCORE mentoring works directly to benefit community businesses.

I am one of the SCORE Volunteer Mentors available to work with you on business related questions and strategies. I have broad business experience – real estate, small businesses, tech start-ups, community service, education and training as well as in established Fortune 500 companies.
GETTING STARTED
- I am available to “meet” by phone or Zoom several days in the coming week. In the meeting we can review your business ideas and development. If you have specific questions, we can discuss them. A timeline for your business development would be helpful if you have one. Please let me know your availability and preference for format.
- Go to SCORE.org and go to the library resources. Perhaps you can find some information about the type of business activity that you are planning and want to develop. We can talk about these resources as well.
- Start thinking about the “business”. What do you know about your proposed business – prior experience? What are your objectives? How much time are you going to put into the business? How much money can you invest? How much income do you want / need to generate? How long before you need to be having more income than expenses for the business?
