critical thinking

Critical thinking is like being a really careful thinker.

It means you don’t just believe something right away—you stop and ask questions.

For example:

  • You might ask, “How do we know this is true?”
  • Or, “Is there proof?”

A good critical thinker:

  • Asks questions instead of just agreeing
  • Looks for evidence (proof)
  • Takes their time and doesn’t rush
  • Listens to different ideas
  • Explains their thinking clearly
  • Knows they might be wrong sometimes

So, critical thinking isn’t about having all the right answers.
It’s about thinking carefully and trying to understand things the right way.
